01Agreement

By using CalPicture you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. The app is also licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). For matters concerning Apple's platform or your Apple Account, Apple's terms apply.

02Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use CalPicture. If you are under 18, use the app only after a parent or guardian has read and agreed to these terms.

03Health notice

CalPicture is a personal meal logging tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional or diagnostic services. Calories, nutrients, portions, energy balance, trends and projected weight changes in the app are estimates. They may differ from actual values and are for reference only.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, take medication, or have a food allergy or an eating disorder, consult a doctor or registered dietitian before changing your diet or exercise. If tracking causes anxiety or restrictive eating, stop using the app and seek professional help.

04Your account

Friends, challenges and saved meals require an account created with Sign in with Apple. Keep your device and Apple Account secure. Your username and avatar must not impersonate anyone or contain unlawful, insulting, sexual or harassing content; we may reject, change or remove ones that do. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

05Your content and AI results

You are responsible for the photos and text you upload and the content you share. Submit only content you have the right to use, and do not use AI features to create unlawful, deceptive or harmful material. You keep the rights to your content and allow us and our service providers to process it as needed to provide the features you use.

Results from food analysis, AI retouch, the AI assistant and weekly reports may be wrong or unsuitable for you. Check them before you save, share or rely on them.

06Friends, sharing and challenges

When you share meals with friends or take part in challenges, treat others with respect. Do not harass, threaten or impersonate anyone or send inappropriate content. You can block or report other users. If an account breaks these terms, we may remove its content, limit features or suspend it.

07Subscriptions, allowances and credits

CalPicture offers monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time credit purchases through Apple. Prices, renewal terms and purchase details are those shown in the app before you buy. Without a subscription you can analyse one photo a day for free. There is currently no free trial of the subscriptions.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in your Apple Account settings. Each plan includes daily and monthly allowances, such as photo analyses, next-meal suggestions and text analyses, shown in the app before you subscribe. Allowances are counted separately and do not carry over. When an allowance is used up, some AI features use credits, and the number of credits is shown before you use them. AI colour grading, AI retouch and share images use credits and are not included in subscriptions. Apple handles payment, cancellation and refunds under its own policies.

Credits you buy do not expire. Credits you get by exchanging coins expire 30 days after the exchange and are used before bought credits. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

08Coins

While you have an active subscription, you can earn coins by checking in and by completing challenges. Coins have no cash value and cannot be bought, transferred or exchanged for money.

Each batch of coins expires 30 days after you receive it, and the oldest coins are used first. Coins from challenges are limited each week (the limit for your plan is shown in the app); coins above the limit are not added. You can take part in a limited number of challenges at the same time. Coins can be exchanged for credits only while you have an active subscription, at the rate shown in the app; coins left after a subscription ends keep their expiry date.

Amounts, limits and exchange rates are shown in the app and may change. Coins you already hold keep their expiry date. If we find a calculation error, duplicate rewards or abuse, we may correct or withdraw the coins, credits and rewards involved.

09Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the app or the service, get around allowances, credits, purchase checks or device security measures, reverse engineer the service except where the law allows it, or use the service to infringe the rights of others. We may limit or suspend access when this is reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or our legal obligations.

10Availability and changes

Features depend on your device, iOS, Apple services, your network and third-party providers. We may change, suspend or remove features for safety, legal, maintenance or product reasons. We do not promise that every feature or AI result will always be available or free of errors.

11Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, CalPicture is provided as available. We make no guarantee about the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI results, nutrition estimates, Apple Health information or edited images. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12Changes and contact

We may revise these terms when the app or legal requirements change, and will post the new effective date here. For significant changes, the app will ask you to agree again. For questions about these terms or the app, email support@calpicture.com.
